"Can you imagine dropping everything in your forties? New language, new country. You have your two teenagersā€¦ They had to immigrate from the Soviet Union back then through Italy to Seattleā€¦ Zina was a prominent attorney in Tallinn, and she moved here to clean hotel rooms, just like any immigrant story. Vladimir, her husband, he was a Baker. šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ³ So, that's how there is a baking background right thereā€¦ So they did what you now call crowdfundingā€¦ On October 24, 1992, they opened their door and started bringing that Eastern European, Estonian, Russian, Ukrainian cuisine here to Seattle." "A piroshky is basically..."

  • 0%A. A taco.

  • 0%B. A dumpling.

  • 0%C. A handheld pie.

The aroma of Piroshky Piroshky's freshly baked goods wafts through the air, drawing in Seattleites, Market residents, and international visitors. This gem is located steps away from the bustling Stewart Street & Pike Place intersection, making it the perfect spot to grab a sweet pastry with your morning coffee. ā˜•ļø

Olga invited our cameras behind-the-scenes to film exclusive footage that you won't see anywhere else! She told me, "Our best sellers are beef and cheese. We use Tillamook cheese from Oregon and local beef. šŸ«  The sweet ones are chocolate cream hazelnut, marzipan roll, rhubarb roll, and apple cinnamon. We use fresh Granny Smith apples." šŸ
