Much to the chagrin of grocery shoppers throughout the United States (US), economists at the Federal Reserve report that the eye of the pandemic inflation storm has passed. Waning fuel prices at regional gas stations and cheaper airfare symbolizes a welcomed return to a pre-coronavirus (COVID-19) market cadence.


As the consumer price index experiences moderate fluctuations supermarket customers are feeling the brunt of extravagant price points for common grocery items.

With the medium cost of a dozen eggs calculated at a whopping $4.25, budget-conscious buyers are leaning into the age-old adage “Waste not, want not.” Purposefully maximizing the natural benefits of everyday household grocery items like egg shells, stale bread, and coffee stretches the dollar beyond a global financial squeeze!

Grocery prices have skyrocketed at my local supermarket.
